The mission of Ms. D’s Palace of Love Academy is to provide parents with reliable and dependable care while providing a safe, nurturing and learning environment.

Visit the daycare provider before your first day.

Talk about the new routine with your child.

Make changes to your child’s sleep schedule in advance.

Practice independence. Any skill a child can do unassisted, the more it helps the provider.

Have a date night so your child gets used to going a few hours without you.

Get your child excited. Build it up to be a fun place to visit, and talk about the provider by name.

Pack like a pro. Bring all bottle supplies and breast milk or formula that providers will need for the day.

Bring a comfort item, something that reminds them of home and helps them go to sleep during nap time, like a blanket or stuffed animal.

Mrs. D Palace of Love Academy is a full-service (certified) home daycare center with different programs tailored to fit every family’s unique needs.

Our Philosophy

Here at POLA, we have an open-door policy.  Parents are welcome to ask questions or drop in. We are dedicated to strong relationships with our families even beyond childcare hours. A child is a parent’s most precious jewel, so a strong connection and quality time  is of the upmost importance.

I believe that with my skills and my  education, I can make a difference in children lives.

My goals are to touch  families, one kid at a time. I strive daily to be respectful, honest and loving to my families, while also providing a safe, loving and nurturing  learning environment.

All children of any race, religion, and/or background are welcomed  here.

Children learn through many different ways but one that is often overlooked is play. We value learning playing and growing here.

Families have a right to quality daycare.  As parents take on their daily tasks, in my care their children are safe, nurtured and cared for deeply.
